Cultural & Outreach Coordinator Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, "People of the First Light" Before Darius joined the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe as a coordinator, he was the former Director of the Wampanoag Indigenous Program at Plimoth/ Patuxet Museums for over 30 years. Over his career, Darius worked with the Smithsonian, History Channel, National Geographic, and Scholastic. Darius is also the recipient of the 2016 NEMA (New England Museum Association) Award for Excellence and the 2021 Bay State Legacy award.

Super Star Volunteers! Thank you so much to our Nauset Newcomers members who stepped up to make our 2023/24 season extra special! It was filled with great activities from wine tastings & dance nights to bowling & delicious dinners at local restaurants! Add in all the trips and gatherings for our Group Activities, and they add up to spectacular! These events wouldn't happen without people being willing to send an email, volunteer as officers & committee members, and gather together for fun and new friendships!
